Bellingen is a picturesque, tree-lined town on the banks of the Bellinger River, 35 kms south-west of Coffs Harbour on the NSW mid-north coast. It is a lovely blend of old and new.
The town has a well-deserved reputation as a creative centre. Other major events held in Bellingen at different times of the year include the Bellingen Music Festival, Bello Winter Music Festival, the River Festival as well as the Readers & Writers Festival bringing thousands of visitors to the town.

There's plenty to do in Bellingen before and after Camp Creative. Cool off in the Bellinger river, book a tour with Bellingen Canoe Adventures or take the kids to enjoy the riverside skatepark and bicycle/scooter track.
Visit the local pool and nearby Connell Park playground, or kick a ball around in the playing fields. Visit a community garden, pack a picnic, go for a bushwalk or explore the beaches and mountains nearby.
Discover local arts at the Yellow Shed, the Old Butter Factory's Nexus Gallery, Bellingen Gallery and Framing Studio in the main street, and various displays in local restaurants.
Visit Bellingen Emporium on the ground floor of the Hammond & Wheatly building for a unique shopping experience.

For a special experience, reserve a table at Oak Street Food and Wine for lunch or dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.
Camp Creative will have food outlets on campus during the day as well as Club Creative spaces to share food and catch up with fellow campers.
Around town there's a wide variety of eateries from Indian, Japanese, Chinese and Gourmet Pizza, to bistros, locally made gelato and the many cafes and coffee spots, featuring locally roasted, boutique or imported coffees.
Don't overlook the supermarket, bakeries, the health food store and greengrocers for ready-made food on the go, from nutritious salad wraps and sushi rolls to hearty pastries.
If you're camping at the showground or staying in North Bellingen, you can get supplies and takeaway food from the Providore near the roundabout.
