Strictly Ballroom Dancing

In this course you could learn to:

Modern Ballroom:  Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep

Latin American: Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha, Paso Doble and Jive

New Vogue Sequence Dancing: Swing Waltz, Gypsy Tap, Tangoette, Barclay Blues just to name a few.

English Old Time: Boston 2 Step, Argentine Stroll, Rosalie Rumba, Sally Anne Cha Cha and these are only a few from the hundreds that are available to learn. Be inspired by Jarrod & Jayne Dawson. Course Requirements

Dance shoes are desireable but dont go out and buy them especially because they are expensive. Court shoes are more than suitable but not joggers. Comfortable clothing is the order of the day

Carol Myers has been dancing since 6 years of age, is a dynamic group facilitator and is an accredited coach and Licenced adjudicator in the three Ballroom styles of Modern, Latin and New Vogue as well as teaching English Old Time, and is a member of ADS (Australian Dancing Society), ANDA (Australian National Dance Association) and Dancesport Australia and Pacific Dancentre is a Registered Training Facility (RTF) with Dancesport Australia.

 

Pacific Dancentre is celebrating over 30 years of teaching Ballroom Dancing in Coffs Harbour. Teaching children as young as 3 and up to 86 years of age in many styles of dance has been a wonderful experience over the years. There have also been many champions produced from the studio through the years in the competitive arena of Dancesport.

 

Pacific Dancentre not only teaches public classes but also private lessons, technique classes, medal classes, primary and high school sports, special needs classes, weddings and parties, with special Social Dance Nights allocated throughout the year, all with a friendly and experienced instructor with a passion for teaching people to dance at any skill level.
