Weaving the Natural Way

Students will learn how to prepare natural materials for weaving and produce their choice of hats, baskets or artistic wares. There is plenty of scope for creativity throughout the week as Mirrawinni shares a variety of traditional techniques and contemporary applications of this meditative art form.  She has recently been exploring wearable art for performance, so there is also a scope for song and dance to connect participants to land and country.

Course Requirements

There will be a material cost of $50 to cover the selection and preparation of materials payable to the tutor at the commencement of the course.
