Concessions: Govt. Pensioners and Social Security holders may deduct $15 from full 5-day course fees.
No discounts for half-day courses or for young people.
Select your course carefully. As most courses will be filled before the start of the Camp, make your course selection very carefully as it is usually not possible to make a course change at the Camp. Changes can only be permitted under exceptional circumstances and will depend on vacancies and agreement of the tutor concerned.
Other costs: Some courses may have additional costs to cover materials, model fees, etc. You will be advised of these costs when your application is acknowledged, but be aware that some of these additional costs may not be known until the Camp is held.
Child Care: If you or your child is doing a course and that course is situated off-campus, or you are not attending a course but your child is, you can pre-book childcare for mornings (8.30-9am), lunch (12-1pm) and afternoons (4-4.30pm). For children aged 6–14 years, the cost is just $15 for the five days, payable with the application.
Payments: All bookings must be paid in full at time of booking. Early Bird payments must be received by Sept 30.
No bookings can be guaranteed until the application form and full payment are received.
Cancellation: Applications cancelled after November 1st will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
NO REFUNDS will be given after December 1st.
Camp Creative Membership: Renew your annual membership or become a new member for just $5 and receive advance notice about future camps.
Note that courses BEGIN ON MONDAY MORNING 9th January and finish on FRIDAY 13th January in the afternoon. All courses run over 5 days.
For accommodation, there is a wide range of options available: B&Bs, self-catered cottages, a backpackers, a hotel and two motels. At the nearby showground there is ample room for tents and caravans, for enquiries telephone: Rhonda or Ray 0431264836 or Caroline 66559199 or 0409996423. In the surrounding areas there are also many more places to stay. Billets in private homes are another cost-effective way to stay. If you are arriving and departing by train to or from Urunga or plane to Coffs Harbour, please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements to get you to Bellingen and back. (During the Camp, a free shuttle bus will operate from Monday to Friday in the morning, lunch hour and afternoon between the High School and downtown Bellingen and the showground. This will save you bringing your car to the school each day).
It is summer, so bring cool, comfortable and casual clothes and maybe an umbrella in case of rain.
The canteen at the school will be open for morning teas and lunches. Coffees, teas and drinks will also be available from the coffee van. Club Creative opens each afternoon and allows campers to gather for a drink and an opportunity to share their day’s stories. Campers bring their own drinks and refrigeration is available for storing them during the day.
All events are FREE except for the Welcome Reception and canoeing

Welcome to the Camp where you catch up with old friends, meet new ones and chat with tutors (note: because of travel arrangements not all tutors can make it). Cost is $20 which includes finger food and a glass or two of wine while you enjoy an exhibition of tutor’s works and the music of a Quintet and the Hot Club Creative Trio. Bookings and payment in advance is essential. |

If you are coming from the Pacific Highway to Bellingen, you will see the high school on the left hand side. If you are coming from the west, drive through town and it will be on the right hand side. There are two entrances, one opposite the golf course and one off Crown Street (see map). The Crown Street access is best if you have equipment or bulky/ heavy items to carry.
To confirm your arrival and to collect your Information Booklet, registration will take place between 10am and 5pm on Sunday, January 8th at the Bellingen High School. Collecting your Information Booklet and registering your name on the class roll will advise us of your arrival and registration and no further action is required. If travelling a long distance and your course is fully paid, you can register at 8am on Monday morning at the High School prior to the course start time of 9am. When you book, you will be sent more detailed advice such as what materials to bring, maps of the district, town and school campus.

Most of the courses are at the high school. Those that are not, such as the dance classes, are held in town which is ten minutes walk from the school. Parents with children should bear this in mind for drop-off and pick-up arrangements. You will be advised when you receive your booking confirmation where your class is located.
Full day courses run for five days starting at 9am Monday and finishing each day at 4pm.
Half day courses will run for five days either in the morning (9am to noon) or afternoon (1 to 4pm). There is a one hour lunch break and breaks for morning and afternoon tea at the tutor’s discretion.
