3 years ago I joined the Waltons Wizards morning classes, I had never played a musical instrument, could not read music but had the most uplifting week of my life. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about playing a woodwind instrument to 'have a go' and change your life! |

Can we see Jo Walton mentioned in the "About your tutor" blurb, too, please? As the group was split into advanced beginners and beginner's beginners.... (and I rated as "beginner" as anyone else there), it was Jo who taught me everything I know about clarinet playing. Believe me, Jo had a challenge ahead of her... but with a wickedly dry sense of humour and a good deal of patience, our whole group WAS playing something by the end of 5 MORNINGS, and many of us improved our music reading skills, too. Just for the record, I believe Mark is a wonderful teacher, too!!! :) This course was sometimes challenging, but very good fun and definitely worthwhile!!! |
