Let’s work together

Camp Creative offers a unique opportunity to be part of a diverse and hardworking team – and have a great time at a longstanding Bellingen community event.

Why volunteer?

Be part of the Bellingen community tradition of volunteering – and support Camp Creative, a true Bellingen institution!

Volunteer helpers love their time at the Camp – there’s a variety of roles, working with a supportive team – and volunteer contributions are always greatly valued.

If you’re new to Bellingen, or seeking some new connections, you’ll be welcomed by the Camp volunteer community – it’s a great way to meet interesting and creative people.

It’s flexible

You can choose to:

  • Help out with setting up the event or packing down at the end of the week

  • Take on a role over the whole Camp week

  • Help during the event on the days and times you are available

Locations

The main locations for volunteer helpers are Bellingen High School and St Mary’s Primary School – but there are also opportunities to help at classes and events around town.

What’s in it for me?

Camp Creative is and always has been, predominantly run by volunteers.

We have a paid Event Coordinator, who manages the event as a whole (including the website and ticketing, and tutor and student liaison).

Every other role is carried out by our committee (who are all volunteers) and our wonderful community helpers.

So volunteering is just that.. awesome people gifting us their time to make this community event happen.

Application process

If you’d like to volunteer please click the button below and fill in the form.

Please note that all volunteers need to have a current working with children check.

As things get really busy in the Camp Creative office in the lead up to camp, we may not respond immediately, but your interest and offer is appreciated and we will endeavour to get back to you in a timely manner.
