Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi, is a gentle, flowing sequence of 18 movements that combines elements of Tai Chi and Qigong, emphasising synchronised flow, with breathing and concentration, for improved health and well-being.

Matt Sincock

Matt loves to help people create the space to discover their own self-healing and a real joy for life.

He draws on his training and practice in Qigong, martial arts, Zen Shiatsu, Acupuncture, Okido Yoga, Remedial Massage, Mindfulness, Japanese Psychology, Creative Writing, and his Deep Wilderness Experiences.

He lives in Bellingen, with a successful therapeutic practice, and teaches Qigong, Yoga, and First Aid.

  • Taiji (Tai-Chi) and Qigong, focus on moving your body mindfully with minimal physical or mental tension, creating relaxation, tranquility and health. Easy to learn, simple to practice.

    Benefits:

    * Improves circulation, balance, and coordination.

    * Provides gentle stretching and exercises major joints, tendons, and muscles.

    * Massages internal organs, calms the mind, and reduces stress.

    * Stimulates the energetic meridian system and strengthens Qi (vital energy).

    Through practice, you will learn to restore your energy, cleanse your body of toxins, reduce stress and anxiety, improve your overall health condition, and develop spiritual perception and awareness.

  • Please bring the following on your first day of class:

    • Sun hat

    • Sunscreen

    • Water bottle

    • Towel or cushion

    Guigen Qigong instruction book available to purchase (includes DVD)

  • No experience required.

    • Qigong warm up exercises

    • Practicing the first twelve movements

    • Learning the next six movments

    • Meditation

    DAY FOUR

    • Qigong warm up exercises

    • Practicing the full eighteen movements

    • Meditation

    • Practicing for Thursday’s evening performace of Taiji Qigong Shibashi in the park
