COURSE TUTOR
Felix Hooper
Meet Camp Creative’s first ever youth tutor!
Felix is 15 and is a home-schooled high school student from Queensland, that loves lego, Formula One, cars and stop motion.
He has been acting on stage and screen since he was 4 and has been in many TV commercials, as well as the Netflix show 'Irreverent'.
Felix already has teaching experience and has run a stop motion course for young people at HOTA (Home of the Arts). He also taught for the first time at Camp Creative in January 2026. He has been making stop-motion videos since he was 9.
“The course was interesting and I learnt things and created lots of videos which got better and more complicated and longer as I learnt more during the week. Felix was a great teacher.”
“Felix was really confident and engaging. The students obviously loved him and he shared great skills and a passion for stop motion.”
“(parent) I was initially apprehensive finding out a 14yr old was hosting, after we’d registered and paid, but I had nothing to worry about. The tutor was likely one of the best teachers my daughter has had.”
