World Music Studio: Rhythms & Folk Songs

$163.00

Grab your instrument and get ready to go on a musical adventure around the globe! In this high-energy afternoon jam studio, we are putting together an epic, kid-led World Music Orchestra.

Whether you play a melody instrument (like the violin, flute, recorder, or accordion) or love holding down the beat (on guitar, ukulele, bass, or percussion), there is a spot in the band just for you. Together, we will discover how to play catchy tunes, cool chords, and dancing rhythms from completely different corners of the world.

Forget staring at boring sheet music all day—we are going to learn like real folk musicians do by listening, copying by ear, and catching the magical "feel" of the groove! Along the way, we’ll dive into the cool stories behind the music, try our hand at making up our own solos through fun improvisation games, and learn how to jam together as a team. This workshop is all about celebrating your unique musical superpowers, making lots of noise, and having the best time making new friends!
