Body Percussion Rhythms

$290.00
sold out

Learn to create your own rhythms and music through clapping, walking and a-rhythm-matics!

Greg is the pioneer of body percussion in Australia and his workshops are a great exploration of rhythm for those interested in music, percussion and dance. Through clapping, slapping and stamping we play lots of fun and intricate rhythm games.

Using a series of numbers, we weave a myriad of beautiful rhythms together. Eventually it blossoms into a form of dance accompanied by the dancers themselves!

Workshop includes:

  • Improvisation

  • Creative games

  • Polyrhythms

AGE: Suitable for ages 18 to adult

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate - Suited to those who have some experience, but are looking to learn new techniques and explore more complex projects.

SCHEDULE: Half Days - Monday 13 to Friday 17 January 2025 - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

VENUE: Bellingen Showground
