Kristy will take you through basic punch needle techniques, introduce you to the tools and assist you in creating your own amazing mini rug or wall hanging. 

PLEASE NOTE: THIS COURSE ONLY RUNS FOR 2 FULL DAYS - Thursday 16 to Friday 17 January 2025 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

AGE: Suitable for ages 13 to 17

SKILL LEVEL: Everyone - Suitable for a range of experience and skill. Tutors understand that there will be varying skill levels and will adapt to the needs and interests of all students.

SCHEDULE: TWO Full Days - Thursday 16 to Friday 17 January 2025 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Please read all course information below before purchasing tickets for this event.

  • If you have these items, please bring the following on your first day of class (otherwise they will be supplied by your tutor):

    • Wool/yarn - 8ply, 10ply or 12ply is best

    This class has an extra materials cost of $15, which is payable directly to the tutor.

    Once you book your ticket, the tutor will be in touch to arrange payment.

    Cost of $15 includes:

    • Monks cloth

    • Punch needles

    • Embroidery hoops

    • A small variety of wool

  • No experience required.

YOUR COURSE TUTOR

Kristy Holding

Kristy is a practising Bellingen artist with a passion for youth arts education.

She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Newcastle and is a qualified High School Visual Arts teacher. Kristy has taught visual arts and design within the public school system for over ten years.

Since 2015 she has run her own art and design business online, where she creates and sells original artworks and designed products.
