Lift Your Voice - Savvy Singers
This vocal intensive course will expand your repertoire and allow you to work with an experienced vocal coach and a professional accompanist whilst enjoying the camaraderie of like-minded singers.
This course is an enjoyable opportunity for community or ensemble choir members to enhance their vocal techniques. Polish up your ensemble skills and learn some exciting new repertoire to return to your singing community.
Work with a wide range of repertoire from medieval and renaissance music, madrigals, and selections from baroque and classical periods to contemporary works, including musical theatre and imaginative pieces from Australian composers.
AGE: Suitable for ages 16 to adult
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced - Suited to those who have some experience, but are looking to learn new techniques and explore more complex projects. Also suited to those who have been practicing in this area for an extended period of time and are confident with techniques and self-directed projects.
SCHEDULE: Full Days - Monday 13 to Friday 17 January 2025 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

The group caters for singers with some choral experience and looks at a wide range of repertoire from medieval and renaissance to contemporary works.
The previous repertoire has included medieval and renaissance music, madrigals, selections from the baroque and classical periods, romantic part-songs and contemporary music, including musical theatre and imaginative works from emerging and established Australian composers.

Rose Saunders
Rose Saunders is a widely renowned vocal teacher and experienced vocal coach.
For the past 45 years Rose has been singing in professional ensembles including quartets and large scale repertoire.
Rose has a master of music in choral conducting and has been tutoring Savvy Singers at camp creative for over 15 years.
