Can you help?

There is one amazing thing that you could do to share the joy of Camp Creative… share it with friends and family!

If you’re on Facebook, we would love it if you could share our event.

Also, if you already have a ticket, you could also respond ‘going’ to the event.

All of these little things help Camp Creative be seen on socials!

Sharing the word about our event helps Camp Creative to keep going for you.

Just click the button below to go to the event on Facebook then…

If you’re already coming, click the ‘Going’ button OR click the ‘Invite’ button to share the event.

Thanks so much!

Course Highlights

Intro to Auslan (Australian Sign Language)

Monday to Friday - 1pm to 4pm

Suitable for ages 16+

This course is designed for absolute beginners who want to move beyond spoken language and build a foundational toolkit for real-world communication.

Auslan is a beautiful, three-dimensional language where your hands, body, and face work together to create meaning.

Joy of Dance

Monday to Friday - 9am to 12pm

Suitable for ages 16+

Join this inclusive, high-energy workshop designed for everyone—from those who have never danced a day in their lives to those looking to refine their movement vocabulary.

Over five inspiring mornings, we will dive deep into three distinct styles: the sharp, expressive energy of Jazz, the fluid, emotive storytelling of Lyrical, and the grounded, rhythmic power of Hip Hop.

We won’t just learn the moves; we’ll combine them, using our final days to choreograph a dynamic routine that brings these worlds together.

Listen & Learn on Gumbaynggirr Homeland

Monday to Friday - 9am to 4pm

Suitable for ages 16+

“This course was outstanding uncle Micklo and Luke made the course fun and interesting I feel everyone who participated felt connected and learning about the local history and language made me see Bellingen and mid north coast in a different way”

This feedback from Camp Creative 2026 speaks for itself!

Micklo and Luke are bringing this course back for another year.

Be prepared for five days of discovery and immersion into language, land and culture, as we work indoors and out, taking some special excursions to significant sites on Gumbaynggirr Land.

Bellingen Shire Arts Trail

The fourth annual Bellingen Shire Arts Trail Weekend is almost here, and will showcase the vibrant creativity and stunning landscapes of our region.

This year, around 100 local artists and craftspeople will open 39 studios, galleries, and venues across the Shire, from coastal Urunga through Bellingen to Dorrigo and Dundurrabin.

Visitors can meet the makers, explore behind the scenes, and enjoy live music, workshops, and demonstrations throughout the weekend.

Plan your route in advance using the website or pick up a printed guide booklet (complete with maps) from participating venues and local businesses so you don’t miss a thing!

It’s a lovely, 27-page A5 glossy memento full of photos, memories, and interviews with our long-term tutors, past presidents, and volunteers.

We’re selling them for $10, which includes the $3.80 postage cost.
