Can you help?
There is one amazing thing that you could do to share the joy of Camp Creative… share it with friends and family!
If you can, we would be so appreciative if you could share this newsletter with at least one friend or family member that you think would enjoy Camp Creative.
Sharing the word about our event helps Camp Creative to keep going for you.
All you need to do is copy this link and put it into an email to send to a lucky recipient (or two, or three!)

Then you get to take home a fantastic canoe at the end of the week!
Create in Walcha
If you’re looking for another creative escape over the October Long Weekend, our High Country neighbours in Walcha are putting on something a little different.
There’s something for all kinds of creative interests, with workshops ranging from full two-day experiences to one-day and half-day classes — and even a one-hour country hospitality session on scone making!
You might even recognise a few of the tutors from Camp Creative. Walcha and high country artists Jo Barr, Dave Barden and Sue Jackson are all sharing different skills and experiences: Jo with a one-day felt-making workshop, Dave with hands-on demonstrations of two different techniques across the weekend, and Sue with an introduction to acrylic painting.
A weekend of art and creativity in Walcha!
Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 October 2026
Bellingen Showground Camping
Planning on camping at the Showground?
Camping is now over 70% full.
The venue is being held exclusively for Camp Creative patrons, which means if you just go to their website normally, it will look like they are completely full.

you must use the code cc41 when booking on their site.
This unlocks the allocation just for you.
Own a Piece of Camp History
We still have a small stack of our 40th Anniversary commemorative booklets left over from January.
It’s a lovely, 27-page A5 glossy memento full of photos, memories, and interviews with our long-term tutors, past presidents, and volunteers.
We’re selling them for $10, which includes the $3.80 postage cost—so we're basically just covering our costs to get them out to those who couldn't make it to camp in person.
Stay tuned for more news soon campers…
we can't wait to see you all again!
