Sam Sosnowski
Sam has been involved in a wide range of Art and Design since graduating in Fine Art from the National Gallery School (Victoria).
After a successful career as an Art Director/Graphic Designer/Illustrator/Sculptor/and Lecturer at QUT, Sam currently divides his time between printmaking, public art commissions, fine art and teaching.
He has been involved in various group and solo exhibitions and his work is held in both national and international collections.

One can get the sharp lines of wood cutting with the softer and expressive tones possible in lithography.
It is an inexpensive and portable medium that has surprising and creative results.
Students will produce 2 edition prints over the 5 days, and come away with an understanding of the lithographic and printmaking process.

Sketch Pad
Lino cutting tools/Woodblock tools
Some design roughs and/or scrapbook of ideas
Drawing tools
Ruler
Pencils, pens. etc
Stanley knife or cutting blade
Selection of Brushes (fine and medium, wide)
Watercolour paint set (for multi-colour printing)
Mixing palette and water containers
Apron/old shirt for printing
Rags
Palette knives
Ceramic plate for mixing litho ink
