Sue Jackson
Sue completed her BA (Fine Art and Visual Culture) in 2021 through Curtin University, and has just begun a second degree through University of Southern Queensland - Bachelor of Creative Arts and Community Wellbeing.
She has recently been in a group exhibition at the Walcha Galley of Art, with another exhibition coming up later in the year. She has also painted several commission pieces.
Sue is primarily a painter but also enjoys mixed media. She paints from her own photos of the bush and landscapes, with a specific interest in light and colour.

DAY ONE
A brief history of Art.
Exploring and learning about the equipment packs.
Simple drawing exercises.
DAY TWO
Intoduction to colour - explaining and creating a colour wheel.
Colour theory and working with colour.
DAY THREE
Light and shadow, perspective, grey scale and tone.
Different brush strokes and painting techniques.
DAY FOUR
Begin a small painting on canvas using techniques we have discussed through the week.
Choosing a subject to paint.
DAY FIVE
Continue and finish painting and possibly an informal exhibition for friends and family.
